![]() ![]() If I can get a better machine, or even a real stenograph, I might be able to become a 300 dollar a week motherfucker, or even better than that. There's also this thing called stenography, though, and it's probably responsible for whatever superhuman freaks are getting $1000 a week on Rev. And then, there are those who might not pass the test, survive the rookie stage, or know how to cope with the wrath of the graders properly to improve their skills well enough to last in Rev. And of course, there seem to be lots of people who can push past real wage levels with Rev, you could be one of them as well. There's a very good chance you could only reach around my level, there's also a big chance you'll do far worse and wonder why you've made 23 dollars in a week. Again, not being Revver+ makes things 2 or 3 times more difficult no matter who you are. If I went at it all month, I'd end up getting somewhere close to $500. ![]() You can basically work when you chose to.Īssuming I really hauled ass at my current level, I could probably only make around $115. And when you're not dealing with relatively poor audio, and you've got 2-10 minute files without complicated graphics, you can actually get a decent flow going. Sometimes they rain down 27 second files, where you get paid to basically do nothing. You don't have to suck it up and do something that will take it all out of you. ![]() Here's the thing about Revver+, you don't have to spend fucktons of time waiting to acquire a non-shitty file. This does mean that I can barely muster 25 dollars in a day after giving it my all, but hey, I've heard about some Revvers achieving far less. It doesn't require much good file luck either. Instead of feeling like I have no brain, no fingers, no soul after 25 minutes of Rev material made, I can now go around 40 minutes and still have quite a bit of strength the next day. Of course, at this point I was training to learn stenography using alternative keyboard setups, and the rush of figuring out a brand new dictation system held me through it.įortunately, after making it to plus, things have changed quite a bit with my Revving. ![]() At that point, even doing 14 minutes in a day was draining and kind of terrible. My mind and spirit were starting to rot around the 16th week required to do 70 minutes a week and make it there. That being said, I'm still very proud that I managed to reach Revver+ at all. Then again, I did abandon my film editing endeavors, so maybe I'm someone who's only party suited to something like Rev. I guess I must have some serious stamina issues, or maybe I've got a poorly developed cortex somewhere, because I've never pushed beyond the 100 dollar range in a week.
